This is an interesting release, as King’s-Evil are from Tokyo, Japan and play thrash metal. Originally a cover band, performing Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, and Sepultura, the band features Wataru Yamada (vocals, guitar), Masamichi Yamada (guitar), Takachika Nakajima (bass), and Eiji Murakami (drums). Deletion Of Humanoise was originally released in November of 2001 in Japan via World Chaos Production, but it wasn't until July 23, 2002 that it saw a US release. Not only is the instrumental speed and reckless abandon reminiscent of early Kreator but Wataru’s vocals are also in line with Kreator vocalist Mille. The vocals are a bit too brutal for me but fans of aggressive thrash metal and gravely vocals will feel differently I'm sure.
The Bloody Truth: King's Evil is more vocally aggressive than U.S. thrash metal bands so the group will mostly appeal to fans of European thrash and death metal. Despite the fact that the band is from Japan, the vocals are in English. If you enjoy lyrics dealing with death, revenge, and other such angry topics, dig this one up. There are some solid solos and the band is a well-oiled machine but catchy choruses are not part of the mix. | ||
