Hopping on the Evanescence, Nightwish and The Gathering bandwagon, Indigo Dying is a project fronted by female vocalist Gisa Vatcky and assembled by Frontiers president Serafino Perugino.  A contemporary sounding release, there are plenty of somber sounding melodic/ambient moments here for those that like the bands listed above.  Vatcky has a quality voice that fits the music just fine.  Piano,  and the modern production give the music a haunting feel.

The Bloody Truth:  This cd is fine for the style but this ain't my cup o' tea.  While I can't fault the performance, there's just no energy to this style of music.  I find it drab and that's not what I'm looking for in my music.  But fans of the bands listed might want to check this one out.  Former Yngwie vocalist Mark Boals appears on two tracks and ex-Helloween vocalist Michael Kiske shows up on one, singing along with Vatcky.
