Fans of 90s hard rock should check out this Poughkeepsie, New York based band. Thick guitar rhythms, heavy drumming, and a vocalist (Stephen Bell) that is a mix of Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Candlebox's Kevin Martin define Flywheel's sound.
Guitar solos are briefly heard which is unfortunate but the song titles are easily recognizable in the choruses. The band has a dark vibe but the songs have energy so it's not a 'down' album at all.
The Bloody Truth: Fans of Soundgarden, Candlebox, Alice In Chains, and even Disturbed will find this group to be of interest.
