This DVD has been out for almost 4 years but I recently got my hands on it.  The title is taken from Bach's short-lived VH-1 series and mixes material that he filmed for that show with live concert footage from Los Angeles club, the Whiskey-A-Go-Go.  If you ever caught Bach in the VH-1 series, you already now that he was goofy (on purpose) as hell, and this certainly made the show watchable, considering the music videos that were aired were the same ol' shit.  On this DVD, he culls some of his best moments - race car driving with Vince Neil, hunting with Ted Nugent, a display of his worst golf etiquette, and in the bonus section - walking bare-foot through a pool of alligators.  The concert footage is shot with multiple cameras but the picture is grainy and somewhat dark.  The sound is available in 5.1 but it certainly is not the best.  Bach's performance is high-energy, and he's a true showman, but by today's DVD standards the actual picture and sound quality of the Whiskey performance seem to be only slightly better than a bootleg.

Additionally, the Whiskey performance captures Bach during a strange period.  His choice of clothing went from leather to a bad baggy gold suit.  The worst is guitarist Jimmy Flemion, though, who looks like a total dork with his huge, silly, angel/bird wings and bald head/mullet.  Ace Frehley guitarist Richie Scarlet saves things but really should have told Bach to axe Flemion and the Las Vegas lounge-act suit.

The Bloody Truth:  Bach deserves better than this DVD to document his legacy.  He's an amazing showman but the filming, clothing, and addition of Flemion at the Whiskey show just doesn't capture Bach in the best light.  Still, I think diehard Bach fans will at least be interested in watching this one time.  Certainly, his goofy antics during the VH-1 show segments are entertaining.
