An Audio Interview with LILLIAN AXE Guitarist Steve Blaze

  -by Dirt

Lillian Axe formed in 1983 but the average MTV viewer didn't become familiar with the band until the video for "Dream Of A Lifetime" from the 1988 self-titled debut hit the airwaves. Lillian Axe has weathered many storms in its career - label changes, lineup changes (only original guitarist Steve Blaze remains), and music scenes changes have all been part of the mix.  Despite that, Steve Blaze decided to keep grinding the axe and Lillian Axe has recently released a new studio album, entitled Waters Rising, that's the logical follow-up to 1993's Psychoschizophrenia.  In the following interview, Metal Dreams mouth, Dirt, chatted with Mr. Blaze about Waters Rising, their current tour, obsessive hand washing, the evils of retail chains, and much more.
